Regional Manager with at 3 years experience is required for a large company based in the Western Cape.
o Grade 12 with Matric certificate
o Relevant tertiary qualification
o Sound knowledge of business principles, financial management, marketing and sales
o Familiar with the purpose and composition of Service Level Agreements
o 3+ years’ experience in Customer Relations/Client Management
o Management experience
o Business Development through growth (sales), profitability and client retention.
o Management of stock and assets.
o Ensure effective Marketing and Public Relations through excellent customer service and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements
o Determine staffing requirements.
o Hire and train new staff in consultation with Group HR.
o Manage direct reporting staff according to overall company policy.
o Monitor staff performance including performance reviews; set employee goals and objectives; develop staff to maximise potential.
o Delegate work duties to staff.
o Allocate use of available resources.
o Monitor and assist staff with work progress.
o Co-ordinate financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency.
o Facilitate the preparation and analysis of reports.
o Review performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels.
o Achievement of regional budgetary Revenue.
o Regular site visits within regions in order to maintain awareness of market requirements
o Adherence to deadlines
o Identifies opportunities for up-selling, cross-selling and implementing new products in existing client base
Sales and Revenue
o Drive Independent Channel Sales performance.
o Ensure all Customer Relationship Consultants and/or Sales Representatives achieve all sales, new business acquisition and revenue targets set by the business.
o Grow existing customer base revenues through wider product mix.
o Maintain and grow key relationships within the merchant base serviced by Sales Operations.
o Ensure all Technical Service Consultants adhere to the required Service Level Agreements.
o To embody the “customer is king” philosophy.
Financial Procedure and Controls – (Asset and Spares Management)
o Required stock is ordered.
o Stock count completed and balanced weekly in accordance with Ulysses or the Asset Management System in use by the Company.
o Stock spreadsheets are updated daily, electronically and physically; all information is filed and kept up to date.
Financial Procedure and Controls – (Cost Containment)
o Drive continuous opex improvement and ensure optimal allocation.
Operational Efficiency – (Cyclical Briefs)
o Execution of Sales Operations Brief in line with the Sales Brief across various sales channels.
Operational Efficiency – (Time Management)
o Effective capacity management across the entire regional team – CRC’s, Sales Reps, TSC’s and administrators.
o Implementation and entrenchment of effective and efficient Sales Force Management.
Human Resource Management
o Entrench and enforce Company Policies, Processes and Procedures.
o Promote a performance based culture and ensure staff is accountable.
o Develop Regional employees and build future leaders.
o Adherence to B-BBEE policies and Strategies.
