Skills Development Facilitator with at least 3-5 years experience is required for a contract position at large health industry in Johannesburg East.

Requirements:

EDUCATION

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in education and training
  • Registration as an SDF or related profession

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 Years education and training experience
  • 3-5 Years training provider accreditation experience

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Computer Literacy
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation -SDA, SDLA, SAQA, etc
  • Organisational negotiation and presentation skills
  • Research and analysing skills
  • Facilitation skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Report writing skills
  • Communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of legislative developments in the education and training sector
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of criteria for accrediting education and training service providers

 

Duties:

  • Facilitates and advises on the development of the Workplace Skills Plan and Implementation Report (WSPIR) of all the Regions to ensure that NHLS as an employer meets the legislative requirements
  • Captures and submits the WSPIR to the HWSETA in order to ensure compliance and implementation of the plan and meeting the submission deadline
  • Conducts in-depth statistical analysis of organisational skills development ROI and training trends
  • Develops the relevant documentation for preparing the submission of the training provider accreditation application to the ETQA at the HWSETA in order to ensure training accreditation is awarded to the NHLS
